WHAT IS BREATHWORK?
Our breath is regulated automatically. But we can also consciously control our breathing: we can bring variations in rhythm and speed, we can breathe through our nose or mouth, we can hold our breath, we can extend our exhales,... All this conscious control of our breath is what we call breathwork.

BREATHWORK AND SPORTS
Everyone who's physically active, whether this is at a professional or recreational level, knows that the breathing is an integrated part of the physical activity. Depending on the intensity of the activity, your breathing will adjust according to the needs of the body.
You can also consciously use your breath to improve your sports performance.
A good source if you want to know more about breathing and sport is the book The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick McKeown.
